FAQ
-
What interior style does Pam Pan suit?
A home that makes eye contact.
-
Why embroidery?
We see embroidery not as a boundary, but a beginning. It's a way of creating that honors time, care, and the invisible thread that connects hands, thoughts, and beauty. At Pam Pan, we don’t just admire embroidery—we study it, test it, and shape it to speak with precision. Our works are crafted to stay—not just physically, but emotionally.
-
Is your embroidery handmade?
Our embroidery is machine-stitched to achieve precise control over direction, density, and flow. Each design is developed in-house and refined through multiple rounds of testing until it feels complete. All post-embroidery work—from sewing to structural finishing—is done by hand. We combine machine precision with hand craftsmanship to bring out the best in every piece.
-
Are your pieces limited edition?
Yes. We release all items in very limited quantities. Not for scarcity, but to honor the time and care embedded in each design. We revise, test, and adjust until a piece feels whole—then produce just enough to keep it intimate.
-
Why doesn't your framed art come with glass?
We believe embroidery wall art should breathe. Glass flattens light and separates you from the texture. Our pieces are meant to reveal their depth and movement openly—inviting not just sight, but closeness. Beauty, in our view, deserves air.
-
How do I care for wall art and textiles?
For wall art, avoid direct sunlight and dust gently. For textiles, hand wash or machine wash on delicate, and iron on low. A little care goes a long way in preserving the thread's presence.
-
Do you have a store I can visit?
Not yet—we currently live online, where thread travels by pixel. But embroidery, we admit, doesn’t love the camera. Its depth, sheen, and texture are stories best told in person. We’re imagining a space for that.
-
Do people really ask these?
Not every question is asked frequently. But we do talk to ourselves a lot, so does the embroidery, and this is just the edited version of the conversations.
